Kaufieshu go brr
Kaufeshu has so much domestic potential. Two souls that simply enjoy each others company after all the shit they went thru in the main story. Sovie is already the gay wine uncle everyone loves and Kaufman is that noble fellow that for some reason always visits the East every major holiday. Kaufeshu never explicitly state their relationship but they regularly spend time in each others palace, simply enjoying the company until it bloomed into something more. Kai notices that his teacher looks at his godfather with the same fondness as his mother looks at his father, but he doesn't say a word
In the winter, autumn, and spring they walk around the palace gardens and enjoy the serenity, the feeling of being alone yet having each other. Only a few lines of words are exchanged but their hands clasp each other for hours. Then Kaufman tends to the greenhouse while sovie paints the scenery. Maturity is realizing that old fictional men can also be gay. them simply enjoying each other's company is so wholesome especially if you consider the fact that kaufman could read minds. Sovieshu definitely painted them holding hands & kaufman knows where he hid it. they had a couple of drunken kisses & cuddles when they thought no one is watching
Also sovieshu never says that he likes kaufman outloud, but his inner thoughts and actions are enough to prove his affections. Kaufman cherishes it everytime.
