Already, guilt tried to creep into his chest. But it wouldn't be good for either of them.

Kaveh didn't know what to say at first.

“Hey…" his voice was low, so as not to strain his roommate’s most likely already sensitive hearing. "Are you okay?”

I finally completed a fic🫪... kind of.

This was part of the 5+1 things fic I mentioned a while back, where the idea was something like “five times Alhaitham held/hugged Kaveh tight and one time Kaveh held Alhaitham tight”.

I may turn it into a series instead because I gave up on making it a 5+1 but still have the second and third “chapters” pretty much done. I wrote them before this one and have been holding them hostage for over a year(I started in December 2024😪). They’re related enough but could still be read as standalones. And maybe someday I’ll decide if I want to write one or more of the other three “things”.

But anyway, I hope you enjoy my autistic Alhaitham and queerplatonic haikavetham :) It may not be amazing as I hadn’t written in a few years(and neither am I an excellent writer), but I’m just glad to finally be done with it. For some reason I just could not get the words out of my head, so I was incredibly slow at writing this part specifically.
