you have your opinion, i have mine, and i've been a long time disney lover. i adore most disney films despite some of their flaws, but this film was so lackluster in any attempt to convey true emotion. oh sure, there’s plenty of talk about true love and melting hearts and sisterly love, but the emotions didn't ever get me. it’s hard to generate a sense of warmth when the plot points all feel so coldly calculated, and it doesn’t help that the musical numbers are just so "pedestrian".

enjoy the film by all means. i'm not denying you of your love for it. i'm simply stating that for me, it was a well animated, poorly written (lyrically and screenplay wise), extremely predictable film that makes me feel like i'm watching either the 1st draft of the script or the 347th.
