                     IT  TAKES  HIM  A  MOMENT  TO  CATCH  THE  BOYS  EYE  ,  peeking  over  finally  before  it  causes  him  pause.  he  isn’t  sure  why  kawaki  is  staring  to  intently  ,  almost  enough  to  make  the  man  feel  a  bit  bashful  before  he  reaches  over  &  ruffles  the  boy’s  hair  between  his  fingers.  a  grin  on  his  face  that’s  full  of  love  for  the  boy  before  he  whispers  only  to  him.

He’d hardly said a thing, and the child’s rage had flowered to life. A familiar rage towards the world that he too once felt, so long ago. In his hopes, there was a chance at preventing him from doing anything irrational. But in reality, he might’ve been too far gone for salvation.

Sasuke stood still, the shockwave whipping his cloak backwards. To reveal his hand, clenching his weapon’s handle. As though he intended to use it. He did. Only if necessary. He had a wife, a child. Letting himself die for a cause he wasn’t sure about wasn’t a risk he wanted to take.
