“Kaz, there’s no time.” Gin reasoned out bluntly, “the robbers are still onto us, and we need that bullet out if we’re gonna give it all we got.“ It was quite the rare opportunity for him to be working with Kaz, who he coincidentally met out in the streets nearby one of the city’s banks, when it so happened an armed robbery was taking place. Trusting their instincts, the pair took action, both agreeing that they had to act fast. Sure, they called the Pro Heroes’ Association Hotline, but it’s not as if the pros would instantly teleport to the scene in an instant now, wouldn’t they? At the very least they managed to chase the robbers somewhere near the UA Academy. That way they wouldn’t have to wait very long.
“Let me help you with this. You know what my quirk is, right? C’mon, you can trust me.” Without waiting for Kaz to answer back, he gently took hold of the shot arm and placed one of his palms nearby the bullet without putting on too much pressure. A second later, his eyes glowed silver. “It’s a flesh wound. You’re fortunate that the bullet didn’t puncture any major vein or artery, but the bruising would hurt like heck. Anyway, this will be over in a jiffy.” As soon as the last word escaped his lips, Gin paused, still holding Kaz’s arm. Inside the wound, the bullet then slowly lost its solid shape, becoming mercurial as the boy’s eyes were laser focused, unblinking, taking care not to let the liquid metal mix with her blood stream.
With his free palm, he made a coaxing motion, as if beckoning someone to come. A couple of seconds later, a silvery, stringy strand issued from the hole in his schoolmate’s arm, and as he did thus, the mass of string was left suspended in mid-air. It then compressed together to form a ball about the same size as the bullet that entered Kaz’s arm.
“Kaz, are you feeling better? If this keeps up, we might have to get a little rough. It’s a good thing they’re carrying metal guns.” Gin muttered, smirking as he coaxed one of her palms to apply pressure on the wound. “Oh heck, here they come!”
