WOW It's been a long time!
P.S.A. This is a kinda long-ish update on everything that's been going on since I moved to Orlando; so if you don't care, don't bother reading it! :)
Like, since before I moved down here to O-town, hello again Tumblr! :3
Let's see, a lot has happened in these past few weeks; I moved to Orlando and into my apartment (complete with a classic Mickey room and Princess Lottie Bathroom!) And I've just finished my third week of classes :)
Let me just say how much I LOVE college compared to high school; and I didn't even think high school was THAT terrible.. However in high school I thrived off of extracurricular activities and although I enjoy those here (more on that in a bit!) my actual classes are all about stuff I'm interested in and seem like a useful step towards making my dreams come true :3
Now about extra curriculars; so far I've joined RUKUS Ent. (a pretty-hardcore-for-this-ginger hip hop crew), Knights and Damsels Dance classes, and I'm planning on getting involved in SWE (Society of Women in Engineering or some such acronym.)
I have RUKUS practice from Tues through Thurs from 9:30 to 12:30 AM, which is killer with my 7;30 classes every day but it's been worth it so far, they're a very welcoming group :)
I've only had one KDDC class so far, and I'm not auditioning for their elite company this semester but I may later. It's more on the technical side (so far as I've seen) and it's nice to still have that element in my schedule.
I auditioned for the a cappella groups affiliated with UCF but sadly I just wasn't what they were looking for this semester, which was a pretty big bummer but I was at Disney when I found out so I got over it pretty quickly :D
SPEAKING OF DISNEY this Sunday is my BIRTHDAY so I'm spending the day in Epcot and then meeting a bunch of friends at Raglan Road for a late night birthday dinner. I'm beyond excited but I can't help but remember this time last year I was planning this kind of stuff with Cameron... it's weird all the change that can happen in a year.
OH I've driven quite a bit too! I drove to and from Rukus practice the first week so that was fun, and I've gone to Waterford Lakes like twice now. My only complaint is THE VAN IS SO FUCKING HUGE UGH.
