Hey everyone!

I know I have been very quiet for months, but the demands of motherhood are constant. We are also still renovating the house. I'm trying to save enough money to recarpet the floors and have to clear the kitchen to get the rest of the cabinets in, paint the walls and retile the floors in there. And don't get me started on the other projects that the house needs.😅

But Bitty is growing so much and we are just a couple months away from her first birthday!!! So I'm getting supplies ready before then and planning everything out.

She is getting two more teeth, so her teething has been a struggle with comforting her and finding her teethers to sooth her discomfort. But she loves playing and is already pulling herself up on furniture, so walking is on her next milestone. 💕

I am working on the fic when I get a moment to myself, but most days I'm trying to decompress after I get out of work before going home to being a mom.

But I love receiving asks, AUs within an AU and all the fun stuff. There is a picture of Luka I am dying to share to see what everyone thinks of it, but have been debating (arguing) with myself. 😅

I still plan to get this fic and series done for I put so much work into and love it every time I reread it! 💕

Keebs, have you ever had to take a break from a fandom and the franchise that generated it due to bad takes and such souring the experience?

I most certainly have!

At times it ruined the whole thing for me that I just haven't gone back to it if that break wasn't taken.

One individual in my life ruined what I held joy for and worked on for years in highschool and a bit after. It's damaging especially when it's something that had sparked excitement to work on. As I got older, I realized I just needed to step away to breathe and work on something else until I was ready. Other times I try to not focus on it cause there are just people out there who just want to ruin something for others. That's on them and it can be hard to ignore at times, but I try not to let it completely ruin something.

Getting the mental state to where you no longer return is draining and finding joy to something new can be short lived due to previous experiences.

I lost the spark for some of them because of that and it lingers. I thought I would return to some, but they just didn't hold.

Everyone, please take care of yourselves in a fandom. Especially ones that bring you happiness! And don't feel guilty for taking a break when you feel like you need it. ❤️

I just wanted to say that we miss you and that I hope your family, Bitty and you are doing well ♡

Hi!!!

Miss everyone too and we're doing good so far☺️ (despite the interrupted sleep when it's time for feedings, diaper change, or her just wanting to be held lol)

We had some bumps: Bitty's jaundice levels got high after two days of coming home with us, so she had to be readmitted to the NICU to get UV light treatment, but has been doing much better. Had a scare in the middle of the second week, and within that same week we had to make another appointment with the pediatrician to check her for oral thrush and she had a pretty heavy case. She's still on medicine, but it's clearing up much better. Hoping that she only has to do two or three more days.

She's a tough little girl though and proves it every day by crying when it's time to eat 😅

She's also adored by my oldest cat as she wants to look over her, sleep near her bassinet in our room (with supervision) and sits on either my lap or my husband's when feeding her. My dog also loves her as she sits in our doorway looking at her when she sleeps or whines when the little miss gets fussy 😂

Parenthood is a challenge and I feel like I'm on constant edge, but she's absolutely perfect 💕

Update!!!!

After three days of being induced and three hours of hard labor in the early morning hours~

My little Bitty has finally arrived!!❤️🩷

She gave me quite a workout as she weighed a lot more than expected as she hid her size for the longest time, so I am glad I went with the path I did as she would have been a LOT bigger if I went another week or two carrying her

But she has such healthy and powerful lungs, regardless of needing assistance at the very end, and she is just perfect and beautiful ❤️

So we finally got to meet our little bundle of joy!

And I'm going to be a lot more busy with carrying for her and healing after everything 😊

Thank you for all the wonderful support as we got our home ready (still working on it, but enough to bring her home), my appointments, up to this hard moment to bring her to the world 😊
