KNOCK OUT (2025) dir. Tee Bundit
I'm hoping Thun will bury Yut into the ring mat in next weeks episode for harassing Keen like that on a livestream knowing that Keen couldn't push him away. I'm so glad Thun called it out as harassment because it was and it was nice to see called out for what it is in a bl for change. It was also kind of gross the way it got turned into a shipping thing.
men will literally do anything but apologize.....
So @respectthepetty’s post here got me thinking about the upcoming Thun/Yut ring fight and I think Thun is going to win the fight.
Here me out.
Thun lost his last fight to Typhoon because his trainer rigged the match. Typhoon, aware of it or not, seems to believe more that it means that he is better than Thun. Even he knows that that isn’t true. Even outside of the match being rigged, Typhoon was dosed before the match. Thun still would have won if the rigging hadn’t happened, everyone agreed. (The fact that there were bystanders who, presumably knew the sport well enough, knew that Thun should have won is what seals this for me). We are also shown at the end of this last episode that Yut is also dosing. So that’s two dosed fighters in a row for Thun.
I think he’s going to win because he’s just plan better than both of them but also for plot reasons. I think it’s also going to be found out that Yut was dosing (makes me wonder if Mr politician knows or not). If/when Thun wins, it’s going to get back to Typhoon. Who knows that Thun is better than him, who is going to find out that Yut was dosed with the same thing he was. Yet Thun still won. So he is going to be the one demanding another match because fuck this guy, how dare he win when we (meaning Typhoon and Yut) should have won because we’re dosing better boxers than him.
Thun and Typhoon have to face each other at least one more time before the series ends. They are tied 1-1 in terms of their matches, even if it’s only by dirty money technicality. Typhoon isn’t the type of guy to let that kind of thing go. He isn’t the type to hear about another boxer (who was also dosing) getting beaten by Thun whom he knows would absolutely never take any kind of steroid because it goes against his belief system. I also think at least part of it (a big part, perhaps equal to Yut) is going to be that Typhoon’s trainer is going to confirm that he rigged the match and Typhoon will absolutely lose his mind. He is so desperate to win against Thun, to actually beat him that he will demand, not ask for, another match.
I do think it’s going to look for a while like he is losing to Yut. But he’ll have a comeback win. How you may ask? Remember the warning the doctor gave Typhoon? The drugs are going to be painful when they starts to wear off. The drugs are going to be one of the reasons. They are going to come back to bite Yut in the ass, hard. He’s not going to show it, which is why I think Typhoon is also going to dose during his and Thun’s final match, but it is going to hurt him.
So yeah, Thun is going to beat Yut. He’s going to face Typhoon again and also beat him. The episode called it to heroes doing against each other but that’s not true. Thun is the ultimate hero in this narrative while Yut and Typhoon are the villains and the hero is always going to triumph over the villain.
P.S. in Yut’s case there is the added factor of his crush on Keen. He is clearly going to lose again Thun in the fight for Keen’s heart (he had no chance to begin with). So he is going to lose in the boxing ring too. Lose the love, lose the fight.
Boyfriends. <3
The best public claiming + live reaction ever.
Keen showing Thun that he's always going to choose him and that whatever Yut might try to do to get him to be a fake couple... ain't gonna happen.
