we had a rare opportunity to cross paths with our road dog brothers, NE-HI, as they wrapped up their west coast tour and were making their way back to chicago. we beat them by a few days to the tucson rendezvous and did some exploring. ended up meeting this local banshee W at a watering hole down the road. super nice guy, had been living in tucson for years. we had him over to the bus for a cerveza and he tipped us off on a local program called “market on the move,” a weekly pop-up market aimed at reducing the amount of produce going into landfills. you pay $10, they give you 60lbs of produce.
sounded too good to be true, we had to check it out the next morning..
