Absent Thoughts
Working in a library, is never all it's said to be. No matter how much one loves to read, there are times when it simply isn't enough to combat the boredom. Sometimes, it's not enough to fill the peaceful silence.
So Molly Hooper, a published author and an anonymous one as well, spent her time writing small notes and placing them between the pages of her favorite books, usually giving suggestions on books similar, other times creating scavenger hunts, and for this particular set of letters, she was offering friendship.
A fact about herself on every note beneath a letter. Not obvious things such as her sex and hair color, but her interests and hobbies. Fears and the things she loved. All nestled in the books she loved most. The final clue was nestled in her favorite novel of all time. The Labyrinth.
It wasn't very well known and the library only had a few copies, but in its pages was a phone number. Her phone number.
