confidant → guixian&jennie
days and nights were still far longer than he liked. the absence of something that needed to be fixed, words that needed to be shared but never were egging in his brain but would never be heard. it was stressful and mind breaking, he was losing his mind without a person in his home within the twelve hours he was alone. shopping with limitless cards was only so much fun until the apartment became cluttered - and he had just purchased it with his boyfriend (well, they had, not him).
the clock struck ten and it was near the return of his beloved, and he hoped to have a serious conversation with them, to relive the day they wanted to the least just for a moment to mend things even more. though he was frustrated, bothered by being alone and so in a quick, almost regretful action, he called their driver to pick him up immediately. eyes would always be on him, whether it be the driver spying on him or shiyuan, it didn't matter and it shouldn't have. guixian wasn't a dog with a leash on, he had freedom as much as others did. the only difference was that there could be consequences - light ones of course - later if they were satisfied.
suiting himself in nothing particularly special (that being a large thick wool knit sweater that hung to his mid thigh, dark jeans and messy hair with round glasses) he made his way out of his apartment with their credit card in hand. pushing himself through into the back seat of the vehicle waiting for him outside the lobby he muttered out quiet words as he stared out the window, not even once greeting the driver as he usually did. there was a moment where he could feel their eyes burning on him, inspecting the large colourful canvas on his cheek - but they said nothing, how wise.
once they arrived at the bar he felt was more suitable for him, one that was relaxed and filled with people that could care less to pay attention to one another, he bid the driver a farewell before stepping out to head inside. though the driver remained still where they were, waiting and watching as they always did for their daily reports to the one who had order. as he sat up on one of the high stools by the counter he kept his head down and fingers knotting with his sleeves as he asked for a half glass of scotch, wanting something quick to burn down his throat as he listened to the quiet buzz of conversation around him.
