Happy BG3 Day to all those who celebrate! This masterpiece by @johnlarian owns my soul, and the Rizzard of Waterdeep lives rent-free in my head. This game got me back into fanfic writing, inspired a new cosplay, and introduced me to a huge community of like-minded nerds that I would have never found otherwise, including some now-dear friends. ❤️

Took Gale out for another spin at Edmonton Expo this past weekend! It was a delight to be able to wear him again, even if I desperately need to modify his mustache to be more accurate/user friendly, LOL. And the howls of laughter that I got every time I pulled out the Magical Snacky-Snack Boot made my day!

Noxy (aka Darth Xalia) came out to play at the local comic expo as well last weekend, when I wasn't running around as Gale. I do love wearing this custom Sith costume.

So I tried on my Morrigan (Dragon Age Origins) costume for the first time since like 2019... AND SHE FITS (well enough)!!
Maybe I should bring her out for the major local con happening at the end of April...
Comic Con shenanigans! In which, Mando was apparently desperate for a new babysitter for Grogu, and I traded FAIR AND SQUARE for this tiara from Cinderella!
And we took Gale out for his grand debut at the comic expo today! One of my makeup artist friends went at me with a brush and turned me into a guy -- so "Lady Gale" will wait until the next time I'm kitting up by myself and can't be bothered to paint on a beard. ;)
You folks, I'm SO delighted with this costume! Gale might be my new favourite costume that I've ever built. I got fantastic comments from other con-goers, and even got my Spider-Man meme moments with a couple of other Gales at the con. This was a fantastic experience -- this is only the second ever non-Star Wars costume that I've ever done (first one was Morrigan from DAO like seven or eight years ago), and my first time cosplaying a male character. Definitely a step outside the comfort zone!
10/10 would definitely wear the Wizard Hubby's robes again. Even if his leather bracers gave me a mild armour bite. xD
