@kellpyre asked: He's seen that look on a number of new vampires before - desperation for control, to cling to that last shred of humanity. It scared him stiff every time; it was a battle none of them had ever won. Whatever joke he had loaded and ready died on his tongue, pushed aside as he flitted closer. The cloud of mist gave him away as he reverted to his human form, landing before younger with more grace than he usually managed [ "Nailed it" ]. "Well, I've seen worse firsts than a /rat/. Y'got lucky, guy."
SICK– he felt sick to his stomach, gut-churning shivers sending his entire body into a trembling mess. Link fought back the bile rising in his throat, eyes squeezed shut as he further curled into himself, only vaguely registering the presence of another joining his ranks. The mere thought of even lifting his head to face the stranger caused a horrible wave of dizziness to overwhelm him, the very pit of his stomach feeling like ICE as fire rose in his throat, threatening to spill over.
“W-who--?” Oh heavens, he could hardly even speak, dry heaving ROUGHLY as his very flesh pricked and tingled with a fresh wave of goosebumps. Fingers digging into the cobblestone, his stomach LURCHED once more before settling once more, pale knuckles pressing against the mess on his lips and giving it a weak wipe. Blood and dark fur smeared across his sleeve, the blond gave yet another groan of disgust before attempting to sit up.
Only to sway and fumble onto his side, an arm being the single thing keeping him relatively upright. His head was POUNDING , his stomach-- ugh-- Link knew all too well that he was an absolute mess.
“P-... please...” He managed to get out between the AWFUL taste in his mouth, sour acid and bile burning his throat at the reminder of it. It was the only thing he could get out before he saw his world go black, darkness overcoming him in a sudden wave as he passed out.
