Anon, I immediately started writing as I received your ask and realised that I’ve written a bunch of HeroSun headcanons instead lol so after thinking a little, I ended up writing some more. While the game is still fresh in my brain, it’s very exciting to share my thoughts, so…
Here are some general headcanons, some HeroSun headcanons and some spicy headcanons (HeroSun and KelSun). I hope you have fun reading them.

General:
Omori seems meaner than Sunny, but he isn’t super far from how Sunny used to be when he was younger: even though he’s a quiet kid, he still had this menace side that was a bit petty and even chaotic at times. Of course, Omori is a more extreme version at that with his facial expressions and aggressiveness. Still, current Sunny in his friends’ eyes is somewhat mellower, but also feels more fragile somehow.
When everything fell apart and Sunny stopped leaving his house, Kel actually still visited him from time to time at first, but he mostly hang out with his mom very awkwardly because Sunny wouldn’t open his door. Being shut down by both Sunny and Hero (who was pretty much doing the same thing but at home), Kel felt very lonely, so sometimes he would just sit under Sunny’s window for almost an hour, not even trying to call him anymore, but being near him at least in some way.
Hero doesn’t have any friends at college, but he is neutrally friendly with everyone he interacts with. He would’ve been the centre and the soul of any friend group, but he kind of doesn’t want to be anymore, so his walls are up whenever someone’s trying to get close to him. He still doesn’t know how to say “no” though, so sometimes he ends up hanging out or even going on first dates with people he has no interest in, and his mind was always elsewhere when it happened.
During the years of separation, at some point Basil used to keep plants that he would name after everyone in their friend group. For a very brief moment, it made him very happy – as if everyone was still together. At first he would even chat with the plants a little, but it very quickly began to upset him… so that didn’t last very long.
Kim actually wanted to be Aubrey’s friend for a very long time, so when she saw her upset after what happened between her and Basil, she saw it as a chance to finally get closer to her. She is extra mean to Basil and extra possessive and protective of Aubrey because of that, and it’s very obvious to everyone around them, probably even Aubrey herself, even though she doesn’t acknowledge that.
Sunny used to have a crush on Hero (more about that later), but also Kel used to have a crush on Sunny + he also thought that both Aubrey and Basil were very pretty. He never thought too deeply about these things though! Love and kissing is for babies and girls anyway (wow very mature and smart)
HeroSun:
Sunny has had a crush in Hero ever since they first met, and even though he couldn’t do anything with these feelings due to obvious reasons, they never went away. He thought he got over it though, and that Hero that exists in his mind is no longer a version of Hero that exists irl, but then they met again… and the crush only got stronger. Stupid handsome Hero…
By the way, Basil is probably the only person who noticed Sunny’s crush, but he never said anything about it. Mari seemed like she didn’t notice, but she did tease Sunny about him always choosing to sit next to them: “Is it because of me or Hero?” Sunny made sure to sit in the furthest corner possible for the rest of the day, sulking and feeling a bit salty.
Sunny doesn’t eat much in general and could spend a long time simply forgetting to eat something, but when it comes to the food he likes, he could actually eat a lot of it (… like an entire pizza, for example). This is definitely something that someone like Hero would keep in mind, so he would actually pay close attention to how much Sunny has eaten. Sunny feels shamelessly indulged when Hero feeds him.
Sunny has always considered Hero to be cooler than Mari considered him; she used to think that Hero is more cute than cool because he’s fun to tease. But now that Sunny is older, he kind of sees her point – Hero really is fun to tease, he gets flustered very easily. He doesn’t do it as often as Mari and in the same manner as her though.
Sunny got used to sleeping alone over the years (didn’t have much of a choice), but he’d still use his fear of sleeping alone as an excuse to make Hero sleep in his bed. The fact that Hero is so attentive and caring and remembers that Sunny prefers to either sleep on someone’s lap or to cuddle is honestly perfect – he doesn’t even have to explain himself, just hint a little, and Hero goes “oh right, you’d probably be uncomfortable sleeping by yourself!”. Epic win, except for the fact that Sunny feels kind of guilty when he does this.
Spicy:
The older Sunny gets, the more sudden horny aspects make their way into his dreams. It used to be very easy for him to recognise his subconscious mind’s shenanigans and to quickly erase everything that doesn’t fit his colourful and innocent playworld, but overtime it becomes more difficult to do so. Sometimes it’s about some creature suddenly becoming very clingy and horny, sometimes it’s about Hero and Omori getting stuck in suspicious scenarios, sometimes it’s about something else. He can’t help but get very weird wet dreams every once on a while… Maybe he should just masturbate more often, or maybe he really is very lonely and starved.
Omori is more sexually adventurous than Sunny – whenever Sunny does allow himself to play around in his dreams, he feels very bold and cheeky and could even initiate things himself or at least tease and provoke to make the other person (mostly dream!Hero…) lose his mind and pants. In reality though, Sunny is a very anxious and helpless… he really needs someone to guide him or, even better, do everything for him. Preferably while Sunny hides his face in a pillow so he would not be perceived.
Hero is very caring and sweet as a lover, and even though he isn’t very experienced despite being popular, he leans quickly and carefully, so Sunny would immediately get overwhelmed in his arms. A lot of times Sunny ends up feeling very inpatient and even a bit frustrated, but also he has the strongest butterflies in his stomach because doing all this with Hero doesn’t feel real at all. To the point that he usually reaches orgasm by the time Hero sticks it in…
Sunny would also get overwhelmed with Kel but for a whole different reason – he is like the opposite of Hero! Very high-energy, very bad at self-control, very loud, sweaty, drooly, wet all over, very strong with his thrusts and with the way he just grabs Sunny and sits him or lays him down however he pleases. It’s like he’s having the zoomies, and Sunny barely has time to breathe in before he is forced to breathe out because oxygen is practically being pushed out of his lungs with Kel’s body crushing on top of him. Thankfully, his stamina isn’t very good, so he finishes quickly… just like Sunny. But unlike Sunny, he gets energetic after like a minute or two….
Sunny is a little bit masochistic in sex, and of course for the most part what I’m talking about asphyxia. Kel definitely wouldn’t choke him, but he scratches the itch by being so intense with Sunny that it’s genuinely difficult for him to breathe when they’re together. Hero also wouldn’t normally choke Sunny, but… maybe due to his complicated feelings that still linger in his heart, maybe due to the “if you want to do it, let me do it, because I’m a doctor” excuse, but he is actually much more likely to actually squeeze Sunny’s neck when they’re having sex.
