Steven Universe and Keneki Ken are similar..

The last stretch of Steven Universe reminded me a lot of the last stretch of Tokyo Ghoul:re. Keneki couldn’t handle his PTSD and went off the deep in into a monster that was hard to control. Steven did the same thing unable to control his emotions and trying to smile through he ended up turning into a monster. 

Keneki and Steven should go get some coffee and talk about their trauma. I honestly wonder if Rebecca Sugar took inspiration from the manga (not that trash anime) with how to handle Steven. I really wish Ishida would draw a Steven Universe fan art cause damn. 

Steven Universe ended amazingly just like I thought. It’s sad to see it go, but good shows shouldn’t be dragged out. It’s better to end  something than drag it on. 20/10 remember when this all started about a ice cream treat and a song about it. How far he’s come and I’m fucking proud of Steven. I feel like I just watch my son go live his life after working hard and fighting through demons. I’m proud of you son.
