I've just got news that I had been juried into the Kennedy Gallery 20/20 Show 2021. I am one of 20 artists who will be showcase our 20 - 25 artworks in May. My chosen theme is still life with fruits in cold wax and oils. This piece is one of 14 that I had completed so far. Getting ready for the 20/20 show at #kennedygallery in #sacramento opening in May. All the canvases have been gessoed with a thick layer of #blickartmaterials #gesso which is my all time favorite for the added texture. Drew some simple vessel shapes with my #carandache black pencil and now filling in the shapes with rich, creamy #acrylics from #goldenpaints - I like working on them all at one time instead of separately because it forces me to be looser plus when they're nearly done my excitement level is through the roof! #limitedpalette #minimalistart #floralart #vases #vessels by #sacramentoartist #judyjacobsart
