UNIT 7 ‘Time Crimes’ - Introduction towards the brief and outcomes for this year
As the brief suggests, this year will be consisting of research in depth, through articles, books and site visiting. I will be taking my journey through Kennington Lane right up to Vauxhall Cross, evaluating and analysing differences, development, and history. In addition to this, also evolving through a personal architecture with drawings and modelling portraying a clear understanding of the site I am working with.
My aims for this year is to acquire skills and tactics in design synthesis, where initial design ideas and project themes are developed into coherent architectural design projects. I want to explore and develop sets of ideas and communicate design and ideas in visual ways through drawings, models at different scales, and computer work. I also want to add on developing visual references and awareness of other architects and designers working in a similar field that can relate to my proposal and theme.
