I forgot to add one more positive to the Kenolo response, but to be fair this probably deserves a post all on its own: AU where Kenshiolo gets to grow up living next to each other. There are a lot of little facets to this, but one detail that centers mostly on Kenolo is them both having braces when they're thirteen.
One day they manage to catch their braces on each other while trying to make out and they start crying because their parents are totally gonna kill them if they find out about this. They have to call Iori over to the house and they can't understand a word they're saying. They run over anyway because the baes are crying and and find them tangled together at the mouths and desperately hoping no one walks in on this. Iori helps them separate, but not without laughing their ass off and maybe snapping a quick photo or two to tease them with in private.
(Nolo ends up breaking one of the wires on his own braces anyway and has to lie about him picking at it while bored.)
