headcanon that kenzi and dean pretend not to be hunters or in the business when they're in the bunker and domestic things happen like water fights or baking cupcakes or mvoie marathons
They take time in the bunker to pretend they have a normal life, that monsters are myths and ghosts are nothing more than stories to keep children in bed at night and sell the horror movies they sometimes find themselves watching. They pretend that they’re normal people in a normal home, and the only thing they have to worry about is if their family is okay and if the other got enough sleep last night. Sometimes it doesn’t work -- sometimes they know they’re gonna have to risk their lives the next day -- fight things that people think are legends ---- but other times, it does work. They bake together. They curl up on the couch and watch movies together. They stay up until the sun rises talking about life itself. They play Wii bowling (because let’s face it -- there’s gotta be a Wii in the bunker). They fall asleep with the TV still on. And for a little while, they’re normal. Goodbye heart.
