I feel like this video is very important; for once us women are not shown as this perfect image of beauty, femininity and class. This is an ad for a perfume and we don’t see the actress walk into a room and just be the most beautiful object there. She is PERFORMING, and in the most bizarre way. It’s liberating and shows a side of women that is so rarely portayed in mainstream media and in ads. To me it says: you can be weird and faboulose too.
Plus the people commenting how it’s terrible and how the music is shitty are giving me life cause, dudes, EVERYTHING about this video is impeccable, from the song to the choreo to the direction and the camera work.
