okay but mini rant (also my personal opinion and not applicable to cozy/cute stories) it isn't depicted enough just how genuinely horrifying isekai/transmigration is. you're telling me a whole modern person got yeeted into a medieval/fantasy setting and for some goddamn reason they're fine?? adjusting well??? like where's the culture shock. where's the fumbling through court etiquette + stress that you can't google shit. where's the quiet breakdowns because you'll never hear your families' voices again. where's the slow creeping insanity of having NO ONE who understands your references, your humor, your entire worldview. you are fundamentally alone in a way most people can't even comprehend
