🚬 — does he drink / do drugs ?
not counting the times where he has to for a cover, junho himself drinks once in a while, during his off hours and when he doesn’t have work the day after. weekend nights are usually spent in bars with a few friends he has, and while he doesn’t drink too hard, he does enjoy the buzz that comes with it. however, if it’s a particularly rough week, he prefers to buy a bottle of hard liquor to drink alone and wallow in his thoughts, sitting on the ground of his penthouse. when it comes to smoking, he’s proud to say he doesn’t, have never liked the smell that clings to his clothes and stays there whenever he does. ( drugs are a whole different matter, one that almost nobody knows. at a lot point in his life, many years ago, when he tried to get used to the sudden changes, he has tried some hard stuff, hanging around people he shouldn’t. it’s far away in the past now, something that’s not on his file, and he prefers to keep it that way. )
👶 — as a kid, what was he like ?
like his whole life, his childhood is divided into two parts: before and after the ‘ fire ’. until the age of 13, which was the happiest part of his childhood, junho was a carefree child, enjoying bugging the customers of his mother’s café with endless questions and goofy faces, basically the mascot of the regulars there. he even helped out a little ( as much as a child could ), carrying empty plates and bringing muffins as gifts on special occasions, it was his favourite place on earth, always filled with warmth and love. and while he had his stubborn moments and fits ( he didn’t get along with some people at school ) he was a happy kid. after what happened, the trauma hardened him at a young age, all that was left of that cozy little café was ashes, and the warmth was suddenly replaced with coldness. the foster system isn’t kind to anyone, and it wasn’t to junho either, forcing him to go from one home to another, never fitting in. it’s the reason he fled town the moment he reached legal age, and it has played a huge part in making him the reticent and closed person he is now.
🍭 — does he have a sweet tooth ?
yes, junho has almost childish tendencies to anything bitter, his first instinct is to add great amounts of sugar to sweeten whatever it is. it’s a reason he doesn’t like coffee much, always opting for beverages with more milk. alcohol is a different story, ( and as much as he secretly enjoys sweet and colourful cocktails ), he has learned how to drink properly. in general, the fact that he loves sweets upsets him immensely because it does not fit with the diet he’s supposed to follow, especially not considering the amount of work-out sessions he puts in. luckily to him, his self restraint is fairly high and he dodges the junk food alley whenever he does groceries. ( protip, if you want to steal his heart, a good homemade red velvet cupcake will do the deal, though he won’t be admitting that easily. )
a junho who did a dozen shots would think he can, but the short answer is no, he can’t. his poor friends, they were subjected to his attempts of singing on a night where he drank a lot ( it was his birthday, come on, he had the right ) — and then convinced everyone to hit the karaoke bar next. his rapping could be worse, while his singing simply couldn’t and he has botched so many songs that night that he has seen someone shudder when reminded of his shenanigans. much to his luck, he doesn’t remember it all that well, the rest of the night after the sixth shot is gone, though the embarrassment is still there. people mock-sing his failed attempts to tease him once in a while, and it makes him flush red and groan under his breath.
