Not a single one actually. I have found my ships that I like and the ones I am meh about, I have to find a ship that I haven’t seen yet and makes me go “Ooooh!” And that sadly hasn’t happened. Yet.

Hmmmm.... That is a good question... but the incomplete lore is actually what I like about these games. Lots of headcanon material. But I really really would have liked to see more things about Laurence in Bloodborne. He is practically the reason for everything, for this he has awfully little text and is even shoved as optional boss in the DLC. Not gonna lie, before I played Bloodborne and saw only gifset, I was convinced that a flaming beast named “Laurence the first Vicar” would be the final boss of the game. Granted, that was before I knew about all the eldritch stuff that would happen in game, but STILL. I would have loved to see some more lore about Laurence!
12. Is there a trope you haven’t written yet but really want to?
Questions for fic authors As I have told often in the past, the most popular tropes are actually the ones who bore me the most. Though, there is a thing that I would love to write, but I haven’t yet. My modern Dark Souls AU! The problem is, that it is the worst time to write this AU, because in that AU all the knights of Gwyns are cops... and yeah, you get why it would be a super bad idea to publish a fic like that at this moment... The problem is also, that I don’t have a plot for it, it is more like a slice of life version with added angst with a Lordran in modern times, centered around the special unit the knights of Gwyn are assigned to. I also sneaked some Bloodborne in there. They exist in the same space.

11. What makes a great ship in your own opinion?

I really like it when a ship is a long term relationship. Most ships I write are like this, like Smoughstein, Laulu and Wyrmroot. I myself am in a long term relationship and I love when characters know everything about each other and can read each other without needings words, knowing how to comfort and how to interact with them, but still learning new things. So yeah, a great ship is a ship that proved that the relationship was holding over a long time. Because of that, a lot of my favourite characters in the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons series, are the elderly couples.

favorite thing about them: DONT TALK TO ME IM STILL CRYING OVER ARTORIAS BEING THE GREATEST HERO AND KNIGHT EVER WHO ULTIMATELY GETS DEFEATED AND IN HIS LAST MOMENT OF HUMANITY SAVES HIS FUCKING DOG!!! DO NOT! TALK TO ME!!!!!!!! also his bossfight is very good and rightfully my favorite in the first dark souls because i love him so much
least favorite thing about them: the fact that they removed his lines. YES that wouldve made the bossfight 23492847 times harder because i couldnt see the screen through my TEARS but he deserved that last hint of humanity

random headcanon: while being a very serious and good knight... he could also be a complete ass, especially to Smough. he DID get into fights with him over nothing but mostly because he liked to flex the fact that he had a good wolfdoggo and he didn’t. Hah.
unpopular opinion: ornstein could return in other games, why didnt HE? yes the abyss watchers were a thing and i LOVE THEM VERY MUCH but. i just want him to be just a lil bit relevant. a statue in anor londo. a broken statue in DS3. i don’t know. something.

🏆 What do you wish more authors in your fandom would write about?
For Dark Souls: My rarepair, Smoughstein. I seem to be one of the only ones who actually explore them? Also, I would like to see more Orndead stuff, besides my fic “Storm” there are like... four others? So we have around 5 Orndead fics. Come on, ship your Chosen Undead with Ornstein, cowards! I haven’t read so much in Bloodborne yet, mostly because I was still busy with the Dark Souls tag. I want more Laurence and Healing Church content though. A lot of the content I see seems to be Hunter/Alfred or generally about the Hunter and someone from the canon timeline. Explore the old hunters, please! They are so so interesting! Hollow Knight? Less villain PK, more redemption for PK! But I already would be fine with less villain PK.
