defne beamed as she walked over to her fiancée. her cheeks were flushed and she wrinkled up her nose, "you know, it's a constant challenge for me to keep my hands off of you. even here at a hospital gala. i don't know how i'm going to manage going a few days without you when i have to go to a conference. you want to call off from work and come with me?" she raised her eyebrows as she curled her arms around her neck and bit into her lower lip. "i promise, i'll make it worth your while..." she murmured and pressed a kiss to her fiancée's lips. "i love you so much."

frankie bit into her lower lip as they were both sat there, having a beer. "so... do you want to talk about it?" she asked and the other looked up at her, wondering what she was talking about. "about the fact that we're not a couple, but we totally act like one. i mean, our friends are all paired off and then there's us. we act like we're one of those couples," she chuckled and shrugged her shoulders. a sigh escaped her and she played with her braids before sitting up and bringing her knees to her chest. she sipped from her beer and wrinkled up her nose a little. "not...not that i'm complaining. i like this thing we have going, you know?"

when stephanie fell asleep, marina glanced down at her phone before she climbed out of the bed and pulled her hoodie on. she walked out of the bedroom and slowly closed the door. with a sigh, she headed down the hallway to her best friend's older sister's room. she gave a gentle knock before slipping inside and closing the door behind her. her back was pressed against the door and she chewed on the inside of her cheek, "hi," she breathed and took a deep breath. she walked over and immediately slotted her lips against the other woman's, her arms curling around her neck as she deepened the kiss almost immediately. "she'll sleep through the night...she smoked before bed."
