"Of course, love." I say with a smile before following him out to the backyard. Once out there I sit in one of the porch chairs and let out a sigh before closing my eyes to just lay in the sun for a few seconds. "You were right, it is nice out here." Opening my eyes to look at him I say, "So did you have a nice practice?" to get the conversation going.

Kageyama sits right next to you, letting out a sigh as well. “Yeah it was a nice practice.” He smiles a bit, happy that you’re showing interest in the things he likes. “Hinata got three balls to the face trying to receive, it’s like he never learns the proper posture…” He sighs once again but heavily this time, and stans up next. “Do you wantto drink some juice or something?”

Making my way to Kageyama's place, I could also see him approaching in the horizon. "Oh Kageyama!" I exclaim while running up to him and kissing him on the cheek. "I made it just in the nick of time it seems." Reaching into my bag I pull out the movies I brought while we continue towards his front door. "I got Lilo & Stitch, The Incredibles, and The Emperor's New Groove because I didn't know which one you'd like more." Finally reaching his house I ask, "So are you ready for our date to begin?"

He smiles a bit seeing how excited you seem about it, and he is too, he's just a little bit nervous to show it. He opens the door to his house, letting you in. "I hope you don't mind that we're alone... I should've told you before." When you go inside he leads you into the living room. "I know we said to watch a movie, but can't we just chat for a bit, the sun hasn't set yet and it's nice outside." He gestures to his backyard. "O-only if you want of course."

Smiling after he pulled away I say, "You've gotten better, see you tomorrow Kageyama." After seeing him walk away I head inside before realizing something. Quickly pulling out my phone I send him a quick text. 'We never set a time, just lmk when you want me to come over.' I sigh and start to get ready for bed, already looking forward to the next day.

After getting out of the shower, Kageyama checks his phone to see your text. 'What about 7? I get out of practice around that time' He texts back. Would it be okay for you to be alone at home with him at his house?The next day he's starting to get nervous about your date while he's at club practice. He didn't even prepare anything...

"Ah yes, can't have a stay at home date without a home. If it's fine with you, we could do it at your place. With all of my siblings running around it would be impossible for us to have a good time." Not giving much thought to him taking my hand, I look up at him with a grin. "I think I'll bring over some Disney movies since they're obviously well known for their animation and action movies." I say before sighing and lean my head on his shoulder again. "I already know this is gonna be great."

Kageyama sighs happily at you leaning on him. He could very easily get used to this, he feels amazing right now. “We will go to my house then.”

When you finally get to your house he reluctanly lets go of your hand. “See you tomorrow then.” He’s about to just turn around and start walking but he remembers one ig thing that he always saw couples doing, and he had to try. He suddenly moves to you, awkwardly resting his hands on your shoulders, and trying not to be as aggressive as last time, he gives you a quick peck on your lips.

I hum in approval for our date plans before answering his other question. "I'd say my favorite has got to be action movies. Comedies and musicals are close runner ups though." Looking up at the sky I notice how dark it's gotten since we've been out here and stand up. "Come on, it's getting super late and you promised to walk me home this time." Afrer we start walking again I bring the topic back up, "So what movies do you like?"

"I like action movies too." He answers absentmindedly, still giving it a thought. "I like animation too. But you can choose the movie, I leave that to you. By the way, if we're going to have a stay at home date, what home are we going to?" When his mind is busy planning the date, he reaches to hold your hand without even realising it.

"I love movies." I say before realizing what he's suggesting. "It's not like I hate volleyball or anything, Kageyama. I wouldn't mind playing if it's with you." I smile before finishing off the rest of my food. "And if it makes you feel better we could watch a movie first then play some volleyball." I say, trying to compromise. With my head leaning on his shoulder I tell him, "Relationships work both ways, love. It's not fair if I'm the only one getting what they want."

He’s still not used to you using those cheesy things to address him, like love and all that, but they certainly make his heart race a little bit. “Then, that’s our date? Movie and volleyball? It sounds good… What kind of movies do you like?” He’s starting to feel less tense around you and he can now talk a little bit more easily which makes him happy. It was all a mess when he couldn’t communicate properly, but he’s working hard on it.

I give him a nod. "Yep. We could literally do whatever we want in the comfort of our own homes. Dinner, board games, movies... the possibilities are endless." Taking another bite of my food, I look up with narrowed eyes trying to think about what he'd want to do for a stay at home date. "Ah!" I say while snapping my fingers and pointing to him. "We could even play some volleyball in the backyard! You know, considering how 'well' it went the last time we tried."

His eyes literally sparkle at the mention of the posibility. You could play volleyball on a date? That was the best news he had ever heard! He was about to say yes but he stopped himself. That’s definitely something he would like to do, but… do you want to do that? “W-what about a movie?” He decides in the end. “Well if you really want to play volleyball that’s good too, but… Do you want to?” He’s starting to think of you much more than he did before, and is now trying to make it all perfect for you instead of only for him. After all, he has absolutely no clue of how to deal with a relationship.

"It mostly depends on where we go, I'm guessing. I've never been on one but that sounds the most reasonable." I clarify, slightly embarrassed before taking a bite from my food and think about where to go. "We could have one of those classic 'dinner and a movie' dates, or a 'stay at home' date, or even one of those 'going to a public attraction' date. The list is endless." I say before nudging Kageyama. "So which of these would you like to go on? Unless there's something else you have in mind."

He looks at you interested in what you’re talking while eating his food, fascinated about the amount of things you can do. He thought having a girlfriend involved kissing and holding hands all the time, but it looked like there was a lot more to it. All the options go around in his head. If you asked him, the better option was always volleyball, but he doubts that’s what people would normally call a ‘date’. Dinner and movie sounded interesting. Food was always good and a movie meant that he wouldn’t have to talk that much, but that also meant you wouldn’t talk much. He doesn’t even know what a ‘stay at home date’ is. And going to a public attraction didn’t sound like the option for him, knowing how he used to get you mad all the time, doing that in a public place could be bad. “What is a stay at home date? Is it like, we stay and do whatever? Like what we’re doing now but inside?”
