Today Saturday, I decided once more being surrounded by art, as usual. I was on time for the event, so as I arrived I picked up the program and began to plan the visit. On the ground floor, I found pictures of the students enrolled in the school at "Sommersemerter", the majority. The photo that most caught my attention was that of the artist Pamina Weiss "The Happy Princess and the other such". Next to the photo, there was with more pictures of her in the castle of Budapest, where the series of her photos were taken.
To continue, already on the second floor I found several projects of the students of the degree in "Visuelle kommunikation". Suddenly, I stopped to think that maybe it would be this what I was looking for. Because of the word “communication” used, I thought that maybe that will be preferred to journalism, but no, it is something more practical than theoretical. During the tour through the rooms, I realised the reality of the proverb: "Images are worth more than a thousand words." In particular, some projects called me more my attention, "Spread the news", "Transmediale" and "Macht Wohnen glücklich?" were some of them.
Surprisingly, on the next floor, I found projects by students of the degree in "Mode-Design". I was literally in love with some projects. All the clothes combination were mostly minimalist and soft colours, with various tissues from textiles until the plastic. A particular outfit called my attention, a sports set with black hat almost to covering the face completely, but in a way, it also seemed to be a wedding dress, since it was accompanied by a veil. To be honest I thought, that is daring! But I have to admit that like it.
