This is Kinneret Gat, 67. She was a dedicated teacher who loved to travel.

This image is from new footage Hamas terrorists captured on October 7. In her last moments, Kinneret looked right at the terrorists and stuck her tongue out.

Hamas terrorists then shot her.

Michael's is a very personal narrative of life in Kibbutz Be'eri, a previously peaceful, close-knit community along the Gaza border. He describes his childhood in the communal way of life of the kibbutz, where security was assumed and doors were never closed. Through the years, even as tensions in the area escalated, the community had a robust sense of normalcy and connection—until October 7th, when everything changed.
