5 of my paintings will be included in the “Coping Reservoir” show @The Box Factory Gallery Opening September 18th from 1-7pm Closing October 10th, 2021. The show will be included in the Bushwick Open Studios 2021 event next weekend. 9/17-9/19. “Coping Reservoir,” a group show at the Box Factory Gallery, will exhibit a collection of art created during the pandemic in NYC by artists of different backgrounds. While illness, panic, fear, and death swept through the city with the virus, some artists turned to their available mediums to cope and process life changes that no one was prepared for. The show seeks to explore how artists made sense of their inner and outer worlds during the time of quarantine, and how personal coping reservoirs reflected the collective emotional landscape of the time. Curated by Kiera Stuart The Box Factory, 1519 Decatur Street, Ridgewood, NY. 11385 Gallery Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday by appointment.
