‘ It’s my day off tomorrow. Let’s drive around the city, have lunch, a little bit of shopping, before ending the night with a movie. Anything, just as long as we make up for the lost time.’ Her heart had fluttered in surprise at the plan proposed over her phone the night before. It felt almost unfamiliar to hear him proposing the plan and even rare when he initiated for them to spend time in the public. On normal basis, hanging out together with the idol would more than often mean lazing in front of her flat wide-screen television. Last night. he expressed his wish to break the tradition. She had gone to bed, full of anticipation — only, to be woken up dampened by the atrocious weather. The heavy rain fell and spattered to earth viciously. It had called upon the strong wind to aid her in a sly natural attack to Seoul so much that it was impossible for anyone to be on the road. It’s a wonder that Kikwang even made it alive to her doorstep. They spent ten minutes figuring out the best way to kill their boredom but it was his last suggestion which resorted her into agreeing passively. His back up plan was less than interesting but doable for the unexpectedly brutal cold day. He might have sensed her disappointment. If there’s one thing about him that’s deemed attractive, it would be him being sensitive and is always good at detecting her, and other girls’ perhaps, emotions. “You’re in luck.” She commented upon hearing his ideas. Inquisitive eyes traced his footsteps as they disappear into the kitchen, as she follows after him. A soft smile turns at the corner of her lips, brightening up her sullen face. ”I happen to be an expert in making an awfully delicious hot chocolate. And I don’t prepare it just for anyone. However, you might want to take up the responsibility and prepare the smores for us? Though, I suggest we should come up with a punishment or something, should you burn ‘em — ”
What a day. What. A. Day. His first day off in how long and it was ruined by rain? Numerous flood warnings bantered throughout the dorm and it irritated him. He had a day planned out in detail with his friend and now they had to change everything up just because of-- rain. Pouring rain. How nice. But with the little help from his members, Kikwang got a few indoor ideas that the two could do instead.
Having arrived and settled in, he brought the necessities of their newly planned activity and, in a way, was excited about it. He knew she was just as excited as he was about the original plans but he also saw that her mood had a slight drop to know it wasn’t being carried through. With a little push, Kikwang had her smiling again and he loved it. But soon his own smile faded when he listened to her last words spoken.
“P-Punishment? How about-- that word is so overpowering, it scares me now to attempt making the smores. Alyssa. C’mon. Don’t do that to me-- plus, how can you burn a smore?”
