Squalo shoved the large, heavy door to the Varia's headquarters open with his foot, considering he practically didn't even know why door handles existed, this seemed to be his method of choice. Stepping inside from the cold air he glanced around the base, rather empty and quiet this late at night which wasn't a bad thing to return. Except for the all too familiar for he caught lounging off to the right. The shark wasn't sure if the asshole was asleep, it wasn't like anyone could tell underneath those sheepdog bangs.

He hoped for that outcome though and proceeded towards the stairs as quietly as he could, not wanting to deal with either questions asked or that infuriating laugh. If Squalo was lucky, which sadly wasn't very often, he'd make it back up to his office without a fuss, but his paranoia kept his eyes glancing back, locked on the silent form of the blond.
