I want AMC to give us a miniseries about how the killer nuns came to be. Let us see how they trained at the start of the outbreak and went after the walkers in their area in order to make their abbey a haven for others.
AMC, give us this.
don’t get me wrong i like the show warrior nuns so far. but some of the girls are really annoying and mary needs to get blown up or run over by a speeding van. but i’m slightly annoyed that for a show based in spain i would’ve expected a lot of the character to have spanish or european accents. but seems like they are all american.
Dark Waters
Writers in the horror press have hailed Mariano Baiano as “the next great Italian horror director” on the strength of his first genre film, DARK WATERS (1993). It makes one wonder how much praise they’d heap on someone for not making a movie at all. The picture certainly contains some great hallucinatory imagery — candlelit underground chapels, nuns using crosses as torches, a beach littered with dead fish and dead nuns. But there’s not much of a plot to hold it together. Elizabeth (Louise Salter) travels to a remote island convent because her friend doing research there needs her. Only she’s really there because she’s just inherited her father’s estate and wants to know why he’s been sending them hefty annual donations for the past 20 years. Only she’s really there because she can’t remember the first seven years of her life there before daddy took her to England. Her story changes three times during the course of the first hour, and after a while you may forget why she’s there long after you’ve stopped caring. The nuns keep trying to kill her, so she kills them back and nobody asks why they keep turning up dead. The nuns also have hidden broken bits of a bas relief depicting a sea monster or elder god or some such flap doodle. So the plot finally evolves into a bunch of warmed over H.P. Lovecraft with bows to Argento’s “Three Mothers” trilogy and Michele Soavi’s THE CHURCH (1989) and a hint of THE SENTINEL (1977) on the back end, and if that’s a spoiler just remember, I watch these things so you don’t have to. There have been some great films — horror and non- — made as tributes to earlier pictures. This, however, is one that may make you wish you were watching the filmmaker’s worst inspirations rather than the resulting intertext.
for a bunch of holier than thou women doing this and that in god’s name and being in the house of worship and all that shit the girls are certainly full of hatred and scorn toward ava and that rouge dumbass nun mary is nothing but a killer. bitch is headed straight to hell for killing macready in cold blood. i hate mary and the girls attitude except ava. the girls are nothing but hypocrites and deserve to burn in hell.

Murder 2.0
Hey guys. So, I'm writing away on Shards, and as you may know, I update that on my fiction blog, and when I can, I add little snippets from the show for illustrative purposes. (And yes, I always link back to the original source unless it's my own stuff.)
So... I know there's a post out there from NCIS, season six, Murder 2.0. It's Tim, Ziva, and Tony talking about killer nuns.
Do any of you know who posted it?
