“[gently] You’re the killer, Charlie. Solve your problem. She’s just in the other room, waiting for you to end her life. Just go in and kill her.”

“‘Never’? You killed your wife and child, you killed Mullen.”
“Ask any psychiatrist. Even under hypnosis, a subject will only do what he’s already willing to do. You’re willing to kill them, you’re willing to kill her.”
“You can’t stop it. Once you open your mind up to it, it’s so easy let any idea into your head. Kill her!”
“Go ahead. It won’t change anything. Threatening my life is not going to change the fact that she will die.”

Faithless - Killer's lullaby
killers lullaby (by oldboywonder)
Ahh . . . From that last post I got distracted along a lovely path of Faithless-ness, heh.
They're produced a lot of uplifting and spiritually connective songs, which is a major draw for me . . .
But I can't forget tracks like this of intense darkness that work so well. I love the way it s i n k s and pulls you along with it.
I'm also a sucker for when people use houses and homes as representation of psychological space (House of Leaves / Poe's Haunted, anyone?) I even did a series of works on that in university . . .
I honestly don't really feel emotions so dark as I used to, especially after a few years of meditation . . . But the song is still so immensely beautiful in all the ways it used to be plus more. :)
