ghoul

hes the most injured one. like. hes barely aware of his body. please babygirl be more careful

like writing down all his scars would take so long because hes pretty much covered in them so im cutting this short

first hes got the mouth thing. from nanana. he got the corners of his mouth torn open on one side so he has a big scar (he had trouble to talk correctly the first few months of it healing) but he thinks it looks pretty cool

once he blew half of his left ear off. by ACCIDENT. he shot it himself BY ACCIDENT. i swear you cant leave this guy alone more than one minute

also a lot of his scars are caused from burns/explosions when making experiments on explosives or in firefights

his right ear has a deep deep cut on it cos he did that on a dare. please stop babygirl

he has like frankenstein stitches on various parts of body because its a cool way to heal his injuries. hes got various when reattaching limbs to his body (most on arms and right leg), one of the neck too

his left leg is a prosthetic!!!! he didnt manage to stitch the injury and they had to amputate. the design was made by he and kobra. they had fun doing it :}

uh. thats the most of it for him but hes got way more than that

well eye ofc. id say like he has a full on big scar on all the face and he wears an eyepatch cos it scares the girl a bit

uh he has a scar accros the nose and cheek too! it looks pretty rad

hes missing two fingers on his left hand

has a shit ton of scars on his back from trying to protect the other three from dracs once and getting all shot

uh he had an ankle broken and it didnt heal well so he has a bad leg and cant run well/walk long distances

they have a prosthetic arm. made by ghoul. nothing else to say i love them a lot

big nasty scars on the neck/chin. i dont know how he got them but well

scars on the back of the hand cos they got shot through the palm once

uh he (and kobra) have small scars on skin cos of acne (im projecting ok)

i dont know how many times i said this but. he has a permantly injured elbow from an accident on the crash track. it hurts often

hes missing a pinky toe and wont wear sandals because of it

scar on the side that goes down on his hip and ends on his thigh

on the down part of his back, hes got like small scars (he fell on a cactus when he was thirteen)

hes got a small small barely visible scar on his cheek

you cant see them, but he has a scar on his skull (under hair) for hitting himself on the corner of a drawer when standing up 😔

killjoys holiday headcanons (:

-upon learning what a snowman was, ghoul began recreating the concept but with sand. he'd pour water over sand and build mini snowmen with it. ghoul tried to teach kobra who was surprisingly into the creativity/artistry of it.

-every year dr death defying refuses to play any christmas music on the radio station...every year cherri sneaks some on when he's not looking.

-for at least a year or two party thought ornaments were really poorly executed earrings

-one time the girl was upset that it didn't snow in the desert, so she decided to pretend that the sand was snow and try to make snow angels in it...her fun only stopped when she was discovered by a very unamused party poison.

-for killjoys, the holiday season marks the end of another year, and it's a celebration of the fact that those still living have made it that far. it's a time to be thankful for your friends and family, everything you have and everything you've lost. most joys would say its the time they feel most united with others.. with that being said, though, there's never truly any time to rest in the zones....

-In the city, holidays and anything similar are practically obsolete unless it relates to their fucked up sense of patriotism. if you're an enemy or a threat to them in any way, they never give you a chance to catch your breath,. they're everywhere. all the time.

-jet finds the holidays difficult. of course he loves celebrating with the people he loves, and he's more than grateful to have them, but there'll always be that cynical part of him. the part that hurts for everyone that can't be there...what is there to celebrate when you've only ever lost more than you've gained? when the world is falling apart quicker than you can piece it back together and everything feels helpless? the others get this feeling sometimes too, but they've found ways to cope and help each other over the years. jet doesn't know what he'd do without them.

-party and cherri separately loved to write notes to all their loved ones during the holidays, recounting favorite memories and giving sappy statements that were harder to say aloud. upon realizing they both did this, it became a joint activity. cherri always cherished the late nights spent writing stupid letters with party, and after the fab4's deaths, he kept the tradition alive, writing small poems or notes for all of them and leaving them in the mailbox.

The kobra kid plays violin, and not just like casually, he craves it. He itches when wants to play and can’t. He screams when he finds a new set of strings. He takes amazing care of his bow bc he knows how hard they are to find. He found an alternative to rosin because rosin is almost impossible to find. He teaches the girl how to play, and when she gets back from the city the first place she goes is the fab fours hideout to retrieve that precious violin.

Poison and Kobra headcanons cause I can’t separate the brothers

Poison is a very heavy sleeper. Once they’re out, there’s no waking them up

Kobra occasionally gets headaches if he’s outside too long

Kobra secretly writes poems in his free time

Like all siblings, Poison and Kobra argue over the smallest and stupidest things (they also argue like a married couple. Ghoul finds that very funny)

Poison plays their music very loud…at night. They get yelled at by Jet and Dr. D for it (this is definitely not based off of the ending of Vampire Money-)

Kobra calls Jet “airplane”. It eventually becomes a running joke in the diner. Jet hates it, but he’d never admit it, only because Kobra is the one that started it

Poison likes to go to Dr. D’s shack just to mess with his things (or they occasionally take over the radio and just say random shit on air. Show Pony eventually created a whole ass segment dedicated to Poison’s random rambles (and yes, that is what it’s called. “Random Rambles with Party Poison”))

Kobra hates being messed with. Absolutely hates it. He really REALLY hates being snuck up on, or having his hair played with (by someone that’s not Jet).

The two often argue over who has better music taste. Poison usually wins

Some do both but most of them say that the day they left was the day they were truly born/reborn

The Highways (Zone 7 HC)

Nobody really knows what's in the irradiated Zone 7 and beyond. The rest of the world, presumably, or maybe nothing. Maybe the 6 zones and the black spot in the skyline that is Battery City, is all there's left of our world. People have differing theories and opinions, even the DJ's will take stock and spread around their own ideas. A couple years ago, there was an expedition out into Zone 7. Nothing big, nothing official. Just a death wish struck lucky. Instead of following the old train tracks that so many others do, they just picked somewhere and started driving. With a gas mask on and a trunk full of gas for the car, they didn't plan on coming back. After what seemed like days of driving in the sand, the ground felt more solid, more sturdy underneath them. The crunch of gravel and sand melded and they were in awe as they saw the start of what looked to be a major highway, with barely even the remnants of building foundation along it. Definitely a bomb site. Nothing remained, or it was buried by the sand, except the highway. Cracking, paint invisible, and support beams rusted, the highway somehow still stood. It was odd. For what appeared to be a bomb site, there were no cars on the highway. Just them. They continued to drive on the highway for what felt like hours, growing in increasing hunger and thirst as they could feel the radiation claw at their skin. They wished for nothing more than a "rest stop." Some pre-days fad. As the sand whipping in the air cleared through the driving, they saw in the distance, a perfectly untouched tall, logged looking building. A rest stop. They got down and thanked the Witch, but oddly enough, the oily black silk like substance that seemed to follow the Witch's deeds wasn't present. This was a magic all of its own. After they rested, they started driving, only to turn back in thanks and realize the rest stop wasn't there anymore. Or perhaps their eyes could no longer see it.
