im not ready for king lear to be over im going to cry so much tomorrow i made my cast small gifts to thank them for being amazing and i have to work on our prep talk and post show send off and im just not emotionally ready for any of it omg i want to direct it forever

so i have about a week before hell week begins (aka the one week of lear) and heres what we got going:

i bought a skull. not for lear. just wanted skull. might make it like “the talking yorick” or some shit for meetings

i have to buy food? i dont trust my actors to remember they have to eat because as an actor i forget that a lot and just keep going

fake weapons???who? i still dont have them

i made a flower wall. again, not for lear. just made a flower wall. it was fun.

oh also i edited the script (and prepared some awesome staging for a bit of dialogue that is actually gonna make me sob)

Honestly, Goneril and Regan’s favorite song is Glory and Gore they are Lorde trash and I support them because like same girls.

(These are the things you think about instead of actually thinking of things that matter for the show that you’re supposed to be working on...oops.)
