I watched a documentary called graffiti wars about the feud between banksy and King Robbo, a graffiti writer/artist and honestly banksy is complete trash It started because he covered up a piece that was around London for 25+ years, and later on after Robbo went into a coma he thought it would be a nice gesture to cover up ANOTHER of his pieces as tribute??? Honestly idk much about graffiti writing, but banksy is trash as well as a capitalist pig I'm glad Robbo has some happiness before the coma (he died last year :'(.., with starting in galleries honestly his story made me emotional

Hey! I'm pretty sure that entire documentary on the Robbo/Banksy graffiti war can be found on Youtube; it's actually a really good watch if you have the time! I saw it in my art class this year; it's about an hour and a half long- I'd send a link, but the ask gets eaten. If you search "robbo banksy graffiti war" on youtube, the documentary should show up!
