A view of King's Square where Church Street and Caunce Street meet each other in the 1930's, 1970's and today's view.

Old buildings were being removed to make way for the Stanley Buildings complex that still stands today and in 2024 is currently being revamped.

A branch of Midland Bank stood at the head of the block which later went on to become a fast-food takeaway.

The Regent cinema can be seen to the right in the distance of all photo's. Today it exists as an antiques centre after being a Bingo hall, Snooker & Pool hall and a retro cinema.
