She was rarely oblivious to her surroundings, as a Kingsman would be, and truly she wasn’t ignorant of the fact that eyes blankly looked at her during the meeting. She tried not to notice, assuming that it’ll go away, but the fact that Arthur had subtly cleared his throat meant there wasn’t any cease to the gaze. Nonetheless, she had to focus; had to concentrate about conditioning herself of the mission, keeping in mind her heavy responsibility as Lancelot. Failure was not an option.
At the end of the meeting, her mind still locked with the briefing, a hand grasped her full on her arm to catch her attention. It was Eggsy, somehow lost in thought, but perhaps of a different light, assessing by his actions. Left by the corridor towards the lounge, she waited for his explanation.
“What are you-” she supposedly inquired, but seemed unheard as he leaned forward to linger his lips slightly with hers, and leaned fully to kiss her properly. Of course, it was sudden for her for it to occur at such an unprepared location, but it was Eggsy; there must’ve been something going on, she figured, and now, maybe, it was time to explore such, so in response she had pressed back, only for a moment, before drawing back just to get a grasp of the situation.
