brb getting lost in Roxy's blog again
Hearts Beat Fast || Kirbanne
Roxanne gripped the steering wheel tightly as she made her way towards the exit. She was almost there now, just another half hour more and she’d be in his arms again. Kirby. The thought of him brought a smile to her face as the radio played lightly in the background. It had been a week, not even actually, and yet she missed him more than ever. They were free, both of them and now they’d finally be able to have their relationship grow. One in the asylum and one out had been rough on their relationship, especially on the couple weekends that Roxanne had had to miss visiting. But it all paid off in the end. They were both better.
As excited as she was, Roxanne was nervous. Oh, so nervous. Seeing Kirby alone always gave her a bundle of butterflies in her stomach, but now she’d be meeting his family. His dad who he had grown close to over the years, his mom who even he said the not nice word about on occasion, his two adorable little sisters that he would giggle about, and the person Roxanne was nervous about only coming second to Kirby’s mother, Rodger. Kirby had met him five years ago and his description of him then had stuck with her. He had made the love of her life cry, and the young woman hated that. But at the same time people could change, that was obvious to both Kirby and Roxy with their achievement in getting out of Disney Asylum. The thing she was most worried about was hair though. Kirby had dark hair, that must mean his brother and father did as well, and if they were as tall as Kirby…
Roxanne shook her head. “No, don’t you dare get yourself worked up already. For all you know, his dad could have the lightest hair ever and Kirby simply gets it from his mom!” She chastised herself aloud, glancing down at her map. Fifteen minutes had passed in her thinking, and now she needed to really pay attention to the road. The sun was starting to set, making the sun even brighter, causing the girl to squint. “Crap…” She muttered to herself, reaching over into her purse that was sitting on the passenger seat, digging in to find her sunglasses before finally pushing them over her eyes. Looking down at her instructions, she paid extra care to the road signs, going slower than anyone around her would have preferred but she didn’t care. The last thing she wanted was to get lost, which she knew would happen if she sped up.
Passing a high-school, the brunette smiled slightly. School, that was over and done with now. She didn’t need to worry about tests and exams, no, she was finally done and a real adult, soon to be job hunting. Maybe she could do something with kids. It didn’t matter, all she needed was something small that would let her save up enough money to get a place of her own.
Glancing up she swore quietly under her breath as she made a quick turn, almost missing the road before Kirby’s street. Even with no one in the car her cheeks tinted red at the word. However her smile began to grow as she picked at her bottom lip with her teeth. She was almost there and her chest and stomach grew tighter and she turned down his street. Slowing the car even more, she studied the numbers before finally seeing his, her eyes widening at the large house before her. “Here goes… everything.” She said quietly, slowly unbuckling her seatbelt, pushing a few whisps of hair from her face that had fallen out of her French braid as she climbed out of her old Volkswagen.

It's True, That It's You || Kirbanne
Roxanne took in a deep breath as she headed towards Kirby's room. She had had to look over the roommates list again, remembering that he probably wouldn't be in the same one, and boy was she right. Ever since early this morning with Rita, who had wanted to eat and herself suddenly realizing that she didn't imagine her sisterly-love for the other girl, Roxy had been anxious to see Kirby. She wanted to know if maybe, just maybe, she loved him as much as she thought she did. If she still got the butterflies whenever he smiled, or laughed, or even when he just stared into her eyes. He made her happy even when she was at her lowest, and maybe those feelings didn't just come from her disorder, but truly did from the heart.
Arriving at his door, she took in another ddep breath. She was suddenly more nervous then she thought she would be. What if he didn't want anything to do with her? Or he didn't believe her? Or even worse, what if she really did have no true feelings for him, and it was just her mind playing tricks on her? Roxanne clenched her eyes shut tightly, raising her fist to knock. She paused, but once she did she gulped and opened her eyes, staring up at the wood nervously.
