Working on Mob Psycho 100 Season 1 - Kirblog 2/2/19

Tonight on [adult swim], the finale of Mob Psycho 100 Season 1 will be airing! To celebrate, I decided to do a (long-overdue) Kirblog on my thoughts and experiences getting to work on the show back in late-2016 when production on the English dub began! My time getting to be the voice of Reigen Arataka was a huge honor and he's gone on to be one of my new favorite characters I've ever played. I hope you all have been enjoying the dub and look forward to Season 2!!

Spider-Man: Far From Home Review - Kirblog 7/13/19

I saw the WORLD PREMIERE of Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution - Kirblog 7/6/19

Tune in at 2 PM PST later today to see me and Kyle McCarley on FUNimation's Anime-Expo livestream where we'll be talking all about Mob Psycho 100 II!

I decided to attend Anime-Expo in Los Angeles for just one day to go see the world premiere of the 22nd Pokemon animated movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution, a CG-animated remake of the very first Pokemon feature film! In this Kirblog, I talk about my experience with not only the movie itself, but the special appearance by Kunihiko Yuyama (co-animation director), Motonori Sakakibara, (co-animation director) and Rica Matsumoto (Japanese voice actress of Satoshi/Ash) doing a Q&A and live performance of "Mezase Pokemon Master"!

Detective Pikachu Review - Kirblog 5/18/19

The unexpected love-letter to Pokemon fans in the form of a Hollywood live-action film, Detective Pikachu, just came out a little while ago...aaand here's my review of it! It's mostly spoiler-free, but has a few at the very end. If you like Pokemon, go see this movie.

What's Next for the MCU? - Kirblog 5/11/19

With Avengers: Endgame finally behind us, no post-credits scene to theorize over, the ink dried on Disney's purchase of Fox, Spider-Man: Far From Home on the horizon and a few vague announcements on upcoming movies and streaming series, one has to wonder...what's next for the Marvel Cinematic Universe? I'm joined by Matt and Pete of Floating Hands Studios to join me for a long discussion on what our hopes and expectations for what the future of this groundbreaking film franchise will be!

The Story of SiIvaGunner (feat. Chaze the Chat) - Kirblog 3/16/19

A truly bizarre (but amazing) part of internet/music/gaming/YouTube history lies in that of a strange little YouTube channel called "SiIvaGunner", which unbeknownst to many of its now-loyal listeners (and unwitting victims to the channel's pranks) is actually run by an amazing community of talented artists! For this weekend's Kirblog, I'm joined by Chaze the Chat, head of the SiIvaGunner community of "High-Quality Rippers" to talk about the channel/community's origin, how it continued to prosper, their impact on pop-culture, the evolution of the channel and the people behind it and even a few funny stories about their jokey troll-song antics. Revisiting Sailor Moon as Pegasus - Kirblog 4/6/19

Animepril 2019 is here! To kick things off, I thought I'd cover one of the world's most influential anime series in history...and one that I've had the tremendous honor of getting to be a part of over the last couple years: Sailor Moon! Since it's been 4 whole years since I last did a Kirblog about the show, I decided to go over my early memories and experiences with it from when it originally aired in the 90's and early 2000's, as well as following when Viz Media's new uncut dub first premiered back in 2014...and then finally speaking on my first-hand experience WORKING on the show as the voice of Pegasus/Helios! This one's sure to be magical and filled with beautiful dreams, so I hope you enjoy it!
