I regret to inform you that most of my January art so far is shitpost. The left is my Kirbsona.

ok so everybody likes to clown on pyribbit for how much time they spend in the background right? me too, but i never knew how much time they spent the background, so i did some simple measurements

i looked at a bunch of youtube recordings and found that the point at which the story mode fight tends to end for most players is right after the third volcano eruption attack in phase 2. so i used ytsunny's video, which ends the fight at that point

i got out a stopwatch application and hit the lap button every time pyribbit changed between the foreground and the background. then i added those times up and compared and we have our result

65.9%. pyribbit spends almost two thirds of the fight in the background!

since i didn't do a frame by frame analysis, there is room for improvement, but i'm happy enough with this
