"If you had a single resolution that you could fulfill with the snap of a finer, what would it be?" He asked sipping on some beer, looking over at Lance. A fellow teacher, though they touch different grades. "Would you go the professional route or the personal one?" Intrigued himself by the question, he had his own answer but wanted to wait and see what his friend would say. For himself he'd go the personal route and it wouldn't just involve him but his wife as well, doing whatever it took to bring a child of their own into this world.

When: NYE

It was their first night out together without their daughter and Courtney found herself nervous. She held her phone in her hand, her small clutch in the other as she looked at Cohen through the eyes of her mask. "We shouldn't be nervous right? Leaving her with your parents for the night right?" She chewed her lip, as she waited for her husband to answer, knowing they weren't just leaving their daughter with a random babysitter. Leaving them with her in-laws and his parents, those same who had raised four boys and knew how to handle a baby. "Maybe we should go back home."

"Well, Mrs. Marrero are you ready to welcome in the new year?" Ricky replied as he handed her a glass of champagne that he had just picked up from the bar. The last year being absolutely wild, but one of the best ones he had had in a very long time. There were plenty of ups and downs but there was no one he'd rather ha e by his side than the woman beside him. "This year will be our year I know it."

It felt as if almost the entire town was there, the masquerade ball for new years eve. Despite being behind masks, Archie was able to figure out who some people were. Of course he had also come with Hazal and knew what she had looked like but everyone else was a mystery. However, there were a few people who stood out, especially those who were newer in town (to a point). So seeing that lanky kid, Archie immediately knew it was Wren. "Hey dude," he replied and gave the kid a nod, not that the age difference was huge and Wren was a kid but still. "Whats happening? Things going okay?"

Where: Masquerade Ball

When: NYE Having gone to his fair share of parties and balls, Griffin had never been to a masquerade one before. Never having had to dress up and even hide his identity behind a mask. It made for some mystery and fun, though all he could think about was trying to figure out who was who. It was a game he was playing in his head, and so far he was at least three for three; then again he had basically only knew like three people (not counting his sister or her in-laws or his friends from back in Chicago). Seeing the fourth person, he quietly crept over to her and joined her off to the side, "well, well, well. If this ball doesn't make the top news in town, I don't know what will." He mused before turning to face Gen, and desperatley hoping he was in fact now four for four with guessing who was behind the mask.

The last year had been rewarding both in his personal life as well as his occupation. He had ended the year off as an engaged man, and was throwing his hat into the ring for District Attorney. So he had plenty of reasons to celebrate, even if that meant with those he didn't necessarily know so well. "Cheers," Leo replied as he lifted his glass before taking a sip of his drink. "Got any resolutions for the year?" He asked, his hands surrounding the glass containing a cold beverage.

Ringing in a other year with family and friends had Mack feeling some type of way. The last year had been filled with a plethora of both ups and downs, and she was forever grateful for her community, her friends, and most of all her family. The masquerade ball would give her a chance to ring in the new year in a fun way, a different way than ever before. Saddling up by the bar, her gaze immediately met a man at the other end, his piercing blue eyes shining from behind his mask. Smirking at him and lifting her glass to her lips, she took a sip and then sauntered over to him. "Why hello there," she replied, "you looked lonely at this end of the bar. So I figured you could use some company."
