I'm hitting the point of summer break that reminds me that no matter how nice it feels to have all this free time, it's actually very bad for me. Convention in town? Let's go check it out ah nevermind too many people in that parking lot. Let's go do clay instead? Now that I'm here idk if I really want to. Let's. Go back home and sit on the couch and continue to not see anyone in person, that's obviously the ideal.
Fedex is very confident that my package will be here by the end of the day, despite it being scanned in Kansas three hours ago
It's a 15 hour drive
So I still haven't heard anything since my references submitted their reviews on Friday, and my brain is doing great. I should email them to check in, it says, then when it reads that they'll get back to me as soon as they look over them, it decides well they said they'd be in touch, there's no reason to be impatient
Currently trying to throttle my brain and remind it that there's a difference between being impatient and letting them know I'm still very much interested
So is anyone else having weird issues with reblogs randomly going to a sideblog instead of the blog you've been using? Part of me was wondering if I just fatfingered it on accident, but no, I hit reblog -> reblog now, two taps, and depending on the direction of the wind outside it ends up on a sideblog that I have never intentionally reblogged to. Some of my queues have also decided to relocate, and it is driving me a little crazy
Montana really needs to get an IKEA so I can stop considering the feasibility of driving to Denver every couple of blue moons
More hoya pics as the lacunosa and compacta both get ready to bloom and the krohniana goes insane
Yesterday only one peduncle was blooming on the krohniana, and tonight two of them are. For some reason the scent is extra strong at night and it all but forces me to notice the progress. Right away they're a bit star-shaped, but then they turn into adorable fuzzy orbs.
I want to go do some more ceramics, but I've been there literally every day this week and that feels a little excessive and almost embarrassing (somehow)
Not even sure what I'd do. Just want to. Go.
