you should go change cos you’re actually alma coin
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA NO. I'm not Alma, I can assure you that. But there are some things added to the page that make me cringe and I'm just this close to banging my head against a wall. Tbh this is what does it:
Coin was egomaniacal, manipulative, cynical, murderous, callous, sociopathic, cruel, malicious, power-crazed, bitter, impatient, misanthropic and emotionally detached to the extreme. She was deceptively intelligent, to the point of arrogance, and was able to outthink President Snow himself, who didn't realise her plan until it was already in action.
Egomanical? Bitter? Impatient? Misanthropic? Murderous? And fyi? CALLOUS, CRUEL AND MALICIOUS WORK AS SYNONYMS. And, if Alma's arrogant then what's Katniss when she thinks she has power over everyone, even over Alma and Snow too, to the point Alma has to remind her people she is the one in control. Because if that is not arrogance then someone come and explain it to me.
And then there's this:
Coin showed signs of being a psychopathic megalomaniac who was completely power-crazed, but showed more signs of being a sociopath, such as: Manipulation, sadism, independence, ruthlessness, high intelligence and an unhealthy degree of selfishness.
I already debunked the psychopathic megalomaniac the other day. She is NOT completely power crazed, that shows up as the story progresses and becoming Panem's President is more realistic as days pass by. Now while I do think she has sociopathic traits, they are not explored and just because a few traits fall under the category does not make her one, not even with her actions. Sadism, in this case, goes along with the callous/cruel/malicious trifecta from above - let's just add words for the sake of adding them to make her look worse!
Being ruthless goes hand in hand with her ability to lock away her emotions to get the job done. No emotions allows her to think things through without compromising the goals that must be achieved by allowing her feelings to cloud her judgement. It is that simple. And if being unemotional, and becoming ruthless, gets the job done I can tell you Alma will fucking become the poster child for ruthlessness. Because making the rebellion a success, and bringing down the Capitol's tyrannical rule is what matters. Yes, and bonus for her by becoming the new prez - which btw, any other person in her position would have become automatically but hey let's ignore history and logic to prove our hatred for a character!

It was winter in twelve, the sky just the right shade of purple and blue, Peeta sat, arms crossed, watching as the stars faded from the sky, bringing the cold winter sky to a halt. If only the fence didn't restrict him from a perfect view of that sky the sound of footsteps in the snow made him cringe, jumping up to his feet he recognized the face immediately. “I didn't expect to see you here this early.”
