Name of the series translate simply into the meaning of words: found and foundation.Word found is used very literally, as objects are generally “found” items, yet well considered regard to final representation and feeling of it; not created from start to finish, they are interfered as little as possible, they are as “natural” as they can. Word foundation corresponds to cosmetic foundation. Offering a wide range of skin tone colours of acrylic paint to be used. Skin tone colour also relate to silicon mould, commonly used to produce toy and alike objects, very often in similar - skin tone colours. “Silicon mould” feeling give viewer uniformity and lightness. Through this - even hardness of granite base in elephant statue, or metal golf ball gain a light and flexible feeling. As a result - painted object lose their original weight, perception and use purpose, to transform into new sense - decorative, narrative and aesthetic objects. Subject of FOUNDation are all objects, commonly known as found items from “every-day” use, such as W5 washing-up liquid bottle, innocent coconut water carton, cardboard box from TABASCO Green Sauce, Colgate toothpaste, Dunlop golf ball, HEINZ ketchup bottle, “MENTOR” badge, statue of Elephant for Abundance and Good Luck or Coca-Cola drink can - used in first composition from FOUNDation series. FOUNDation stretches the standard to commune with acrylic paint and common objects, to give new sense in acrylic texture on detail, three-dimensional objects.All items are carefully hand painted. Due to thin layers of paint and various surfaces of the objects, it makes FOUNDation items very delicate.
