I guess I've kind of inadvertently created a little Undertale AU? 👉👈
I was thinking of calling it MythicalBeastTale or MBTale for short and using those #.
Almost everything's the same as the original story except about 20-35% of the monster population are ancient creatures known as Beast Monsters, most commonly seen in human folklore and myths such as Sphinx's, Trolls, Chimeras, Griffins, etc.
Some of the original cast are mythical creatures, others aren't, but the Skeleton brothers are wingless Sphinxes. Others who alter slightly are Grillby as a phoenix, and Alphys is a Dragon. Gaster was one of the last "True Sphinxes" with wings.
Once freed from the underground the Beast Monsters have a harder time integrating with humans then the common monsters and some problems ensue such as Beast Monsters not being aloud to walk amongst humans in public without a common monster or human escort.
Idk if I'll do much with this concept in the future or not, but In any case it exists now. Feel free to have fun with the idea. If you do just tag me.

I’m getting ready to start the comic again! Moving houses and finding/getting used to work was stressful, but stuff’s starting to get sorted out, so I thought I’d think about how to continue... and then I logged into smackjeeves only to see that my comic site is gone? They did a huge layout update and apparently all the comic pictures and pages disappeared, which is not ideal to say the least...
but this made me realise that I need another place to post stuff, so things like this can’t happen again, so I made a ComicFury account and uploaded TCoN there too. I hope smackjeeves gets it’s shit together, until then you can read TCoN here: http://thecultofnyankotep.webcomic.ws/

thanks so much...for thinking about him, for offering suggestions, for checking in on me, for adding him to your prayers (zip! that made me laugh!)...i appreciate all of it! and no, we didn’t get a chance to put the litter box outside, because they only use one and my aunt was kind of reluctant to get a new one for Wesson, even though i told her i’d go get it for her (which i was going to do this weekend, whether she wanted it or not, and i think it would have helped, too!)...i’ll be seeing him and his brother tomorrow, it’s time to clip their claws again (maybe that’s why he came back now, he knew he needed a trim! haha, no, they really don’t like it, but it must be done.) thank you all again, you guys are awesome!
