Bamfing to Bayville
A burst of smoke, heralded by a loud bamf, erupted in a rare clear area of the crowded halls of Bayville High, startling the students. A few jumped back, but most scrunched up their noses as the smoke dissipated. It stank. Confused and curious as they were, they were not prepared for the figure that the clearing smoke revealed.
Dressed in a skin-tight, red-and-black body suit with pointed shoulders, a red V drawn down the chest, and white gloves and boots that fit more like curios foot gloves, there stood a creature as odd as his clothes. Solidly yellow eyes, with a visible pupil and iris, gazed out from a sea of deep, dark blue fur. Pointed ears poked out from beneath wild black curls. On his hands were only two, thick fingers, with one thumb, and his feet only had three toes: two, elongated ones on the front and one on the back. They were very birdlike, and also in an avian manner, he stood flat-footed. Perhaps the strangest thing about him, though, was the long, sinewy spaded tail that snaked out from behind him.
He smiled, flashing white fangs at the students. "Oh, pardon me. I did not mean to interrupt your school day. Bitte, go about your business. I will be out of your hair momentarily." That is, if he could figure out where he was. Honestly, he had no idea where he had ended up. Perhaps he should stop by the infirmary when he got home and let Dr. McCoy take a look at him. His teleports obviously were off.
