The unique experience of being both a Christian and a Tolkien fan not only means that you find the Silmarillion sounds like the King James Bible, but also that the King James Bible sounds like the Silmarillion.

For example, some wording stood out to me in 2Chronicles where it says "and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven."

Sounds familiar for Silmarillion reasons, huh? Sounds like a kinslaying mood.
