I found that song while looking through the 'road trip' tag on Tumblr, and I can't believe how lucky I am to have found it. It was always the right song to round out their love story, both lyrically and atmospherically--and I'm sure you'll be happy to know that it's their first dance at their wedding :) Thank YOU for being such an amazing reader, and for your lovely words!

OH GOD ME EITHERRRRRRRRRRR. Anne! Thank you so much for reading, and for being so incredible. (And I bought three new shirts and some shoes today, so I definitely treated myself!)
littlepinklola said: Oh Mimsy the ending was simply perfect. I can’t believe it’s the end. I don’t want it to be. I want to go and read it all over again. Mimsy darling I have loved every single minute of these boys journey that you have stunningly brought to life. I have read a lot of books and in all honesty not one has touched my heart quite like this story has. I have cried with happiness and sadness. My heart has broken and band aided back together. I have giggled, flushed, shouted and gotten frustrated and now I am awed by just how talented you are. You go above and beyond with the extra blogs, the music, the pictures. You are truly amazing. I’m gonna be completely honest and tell you that this and snapshots (I just can’t pick one) are the most amazing and the best, my all time favourite stories that I have ever read. You have something truly special Mimsy, a gift and I have loved every minute of it. Love you sunshine. xxxxx
Lola, you've been so wonderful every single week and I'm so honoured and privileged to know you and to count you amongst not only my readers but also my friends. Thank you so, so much :)

Hee! Thank you so much! :)

It's been like a safe place to me, in the way that one of my favorite novels is a safe place for me when I need it, and I can't thank you enough for writing it.
This comment honestly made me tear up, palm to chest, the whole nine yards. Thank you for sharing this with me, and I'm so glad that my little story could be a lifeline for you when you needed it. :)
gay-braveheart said: I can't remember how I found this story. I only know that I'm glad I did, because over the past few months, waiting for the updates has given me something to look forward to and something to be happy about. It's been something that's made me confront a lot of feelings within myself, and given me hope that yes, sometimes stories do have happy endings, even if the roads are bumpy. And I wanted to thank you for your beautiful and brilliant words, and for everything else, too. Much love.
To know that not only was it an enjoyable story, but that it has also affected you on a deeper level... Thank you, because that's a true gift. As with Lola, getting to count you amongst my readers and my friends is an honour. Thank you :)

I'm wondering if 100Days verse Kurt and Blaine ever saw Nan again, and what their new fortunes would be. (Both fics are amazing, just so you know. You put so much love into them, it makes them that much more enjoyable to read.) And one more question: Did you make a full list of the movies by state? Sometimes I think I missed the decision at the beginning of each section, or I didn't get the reference. Thanks, you're awesome!
I haven't thought about my Days!boys going back to see her, no--I'd have to think on that one! I have no doubt that they would go back and see her, were they ever in NC again... Perhaps they're staying in a hotel, Kurt's scouting locations and Blaine is working on some music... Blaine's got a little creative block and so Kurt decides they should get out of the room for a while, and they run into her... That's fun to think about :)
And I haven't done a full list, no, but I can do if you'd like :)

I love fics that have a story behind them, like reading a great novel that stays with you long after the last page has been read. That's what this fic is for me and I don't even have words to adequately express my love for it and for your writing. This will forever be one of my favorites and one I come back to time and time again. Thank you.
O_O holy hell! I mean, I've done the same thing before with books and so on, but holy hell. That is one of the biggest compliments I've ever gotten, so thank you!

*sniffs hard* Thank you, my darling. Thank you.
undefinedkosmos said: You have finished a masterpiece here, dear. I don’t even have words for all my feels over this story—it has occupied my mind for months and I think it will probably stick with me for even longer. I can’t imagine how you must feel, being finished <3
It's definitely an adjustment--the inside of my head is veeeeeery quiet right now, which is strange! I'm so glad that you got so much enjoyment out of it, and thank you for reading :)
mshoneysucklepink said: *sigh* *deep sigh* *SIGH* *SIGHING INTENSIFIES* In all seriousness, I had the pleasure of helping a teeny bit with this [Mississippi and Tennessee], so yeah I was unfairly invested. But even if I wasn’t, this completely drew me in and by Florida you couldn’t have pulled me away if you had a wench. Watching our boys stumble and fall and be totally fucking stupid until they weren’t. And that last song…I think 100 Days Kurt and Blaine would appreciate the fact that I could see the closing credits crawl up and over their embracing figures on the beach as the camera panned out, then faded to black. I can’t wait to have this on my iPad or in print…though it’s already imprinted on my heart. Mimsy has a talent and discipline for writing I wish I had a hundredth of, and we as a fandom are richer for it.
Your help on those two states really was invaluable to me! And that you could see that final shot, with the credits rolling? Absolutely my intent. Thank you so, so much :)
lalalenii said: congrats on finishing it! I’ve basically watched you since you started, and I sort of feel proud of you for going through with it, despite all the struggles, and the temporary loss of your laptop! I’m really looking forward to reading it in summer :D
Hee, thank you so much! I hope you enjoy it :)
mander3-swish said: oh hey, whatever became of the tattoo that kurt was thinking about?
Eventually, he got a small tattoo on his hip--the drawing of Simba that Rafiki makes in The Lion King. :)
banterkittysir said: This fic is one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever read. It’s long, and complicated, and interesting, and has so much build and tension. I started reading this with a plan to stop half way through then fucking chapter 5 happened and I was in it until the end. This will definitely become one of those stories that I re-read again and again.
Complicated and interesting were most definitely two of my intentions--thank you so much! :)
spinmybowtie said: I waited very, very impatiently for this story to be complete before reading it, so when Mimsy posted the last part yesterday, I started to read and didn’t stop until I was done. Such a beautifully detailed story. I loved the way Mimsy set each scene. It made me feel like I was watching a film rather than reading fic. And the complicated relationship between Kurt and Blaine was perfection. Congrats and kudos to you, my darling Mimsy, for this gorgeous work. <3
Tynaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! As you know I'm first and foremost a visual writer, so the fact that you've said you felt like you were watching a movie? Truly a compliment. Thank you so much :)
