lance always has hair ties on him cause he had like three on his wrist from the last time he visited his sisters. Sometimes the only thing that makes his homesickness go away is fidgeting with said hair ties.

hunk and / or pidge are the only two that know of the significance of the hair ties so when keith asks if anyone has one and lance hands it over they both go a bit bug eyed.

His was two years. For him it was only for 2 months.

I think he cried in the room that night Keith came back. Questioning his own worth.

"Did he ever think of the team out of those two years?"

"Did he ever think how worried we were for him?"

"Was I not even worth a hug?" He gives himself a hug in his bed, wide awake.

So Lance and Adam are brothers by blood and then Shiro and Keith are step brothers /So Adam and Shiro start dating and when a holiday comes up (Aka Christmas) Adam invites Shiro and Keith over sense they don’t have any family to see/visit

But at this point Keith and Lance already hate each other and don’t know there brothers are dating and you can tell they don’t like each other as soon as Shiro and Keith get into the driveway

So instead of giving Keith the extra bedroom the act like it has a leak or something and Keith and Lance have to share a room

And then they bond get crushes and start dating

ok just imagine kl are rivals still, and theyve been kinda abrasive to eachother for a while. they have moments of playful banter and stuff but theyre not rlly friends yet. then they get into an unfortunate situation where they have to work together to get out. theyre tired but lance is like "YEAH!!! LETS GOO" and is laughing and talking to hunk. he catches keith's eye bc keith had been staring at how pretty he is, and keith looks away. lance smiles tenderly at him and keith smiles a little to himself. idk maybe something like this has happened in canon but i read too many fics to remember whats real and whats not
