I say Simon is a Gavineers fangirl 💅

He kicks his feet and twirls his hair when he thinks about Klav but when he thinks about Apollo he just stares into the void because he remembers Apollo is at tiddy height for him

oh my god you're right and you should say it. the gavinners blew up while simon was in prison and he was able to get their hands on some of their music and fucking loved it. he thinks all the law metaphors are HILARIOUS. he tells klavier he's a fan of his work one time and klavier thinks he's being threatened. when simon gets out he has so many gavinners posters on his wall but never tells anyone. athena catches him singing along to "guilty love" in his office one time and he looks her dead in the eyes and says "no one will ever believe you."

The reason i think I love klapollimon so much is because their personalities and their aesthetics harmonise and clash respectively in glorious and hilarious ways.

Spoilers ahead

Personality wise, I think the 3 of them have traits and interests that harmonise and work nicely:

They all take their work seriously

They are committed to doing what they see to be right, at any cost: Apollo indicating Kristoph in 4-1, Klavier standing firm and facing the truth of Kristoph in 4-4, and of course Simon pleading guilty to a crime he did not commit all to protect Athena

I think their world views match and balance out nicely. I personally think that out of the three of them, Klavier is the most prone to optimism (but he can be quite pessimistic), with Apollo being a little more pessimistic, and Simon being pessimistic as well, but hides it behind bravado (if he had faith in the judicial system, I don't think he'd have plead guilty). But I think the 3 of them would help expand their world views, and prevent them from being totally unrealised

Simon and Klavier are both divas with a penchant for the dramatic, so Apollo, who is comparatively normal balances them out

But I also think he'd be a good middle ground when they bickered (because 2 divas will inevitably clash when Klavier insists that they have to watch a music documentary, and Simon insists that they have to watch a samurai film, so Apollo compromises by watching a legal documentary)

Overall, I think theyd bring out the beat in eachother

But the aesthetic differences are the funniest part of this ship:

Apollo: a comparatively normal guy, almost abnormally so. You know he watches the news every night and takes notes, loves doing his taxes, and goes to bed at 10pm every night. He's got a normal dress sense (comparatively). His 3 main traits aren't super out there: his hair horns (his weirdest trait), his forehead (large but not crazy), and his height (I hc him as 5'2 w/o horns). He is a true twink

Klavier: a popstar. He's literally an international popstar and prosecutor. He's super famous, is a nerd about music and the law, and is a massive diva. He dresses like a popstar and, to quote: 'a glimmerous fop', has weird hair (what is that, a drill?), rides a motorbike, and is (compared to Apollo, tall), I personally hc him as 5'7. He is a twink, with those token abs, but still having thay twink frame

Simon: he's an emo samurai obsessed with Japan and England (his speech is weird, like an American trying to mimic English speaking habits, so that's how I hc him: a weeaboo and obsessed with England). He dresses like a samurai, he throws air knives, sharpened feathers (I think the latter but idfk), had an attack hawk, a truly outrageous ponytail (boy how. Give it to me I want my hair thay thick and curly) and I hc him as 6'2. He's also thicc with a body type like that of the mountain from GoT.

So overall, I love Klapollimon.

They have a fun and complex dynamic with harmonising qualities and personality traits. And they have a hilarious physical dynamic of contrasting aesthetics and physicalities. Imagine seeing these 3 walking down the street and holding hands, you'd think about it for the rest of the day.

I like to imagine that Klavier is exactly 6in taller than Apollo, and Simon is exactly a 6in taller than Klavier.
